This week sees the opening of our purpose built 55 space car park at Heartwood Forest. We hope this will alleviate any congestion currently caused by visitors to the wood parking in the village.
Work on the car park, which has taken several months to create, has been carried out in close consultation with villagers to ensure minimum visual impact. As a result 1.5 metre high hedging and over 1,500 trees have been planted to screen the car park from the village.
So the next time you visit Heartwood pop by and have a look.

I had a sneaky run around the car park a couple of weeks ago. Looks good, as you say should have a minimal visual impact. 55 spaces though; hope it’s going to be big enough as I can see Heartwood being very popular as it develops and grows.
