A lot of people have wanted to visit Heartwood and before Easter we had a walk around the site with Anne Main MP for St Albans. She loved the site and seemed very impressed with the project and our aspirations. This is what she thought:
“Having walked around the beautiful site and enjoyed the wood anemones, bluebells, violets and other plants that made up part of an ancient woodland that will form part of the site, I believe that to create a similarly rich and diverse environment which will be enjoyed by families in the future is a fantastic and worthwhile exercise.
I am pleased my constituents will have the opportunity to have such a jewel on their doorstep.”
So why not take a look for yourself – it’s one of the best times of the year to visit the site and see the rich ancient woodland flora.
