The St. Albans Oxfam Campaigns Group are pleased to announce their forthcoming Herts Hike event at Heartwood Forest, St. Albans.
Their annual Herts Hike will be taking place on Saturday 27th September and is open to all! The Hike provides walkers with a variety of different routes – ranging from a casual afternoon stroll of 3 or 4 miles, right through to a rambling hike for 17 miles (options of 3, 4, 8, 11 and 17 miles are available).
Not only does the Herts Hike provide the opportunity to keep fit and explore the beautiful nature around us, it also provides you with the opportunity to support the 9.2 million children in Pakistan unable to go to school. The Hike will be fundraising to support the Oxfam “Get Girls into School” program in Pakistan, where 66.9% of girls are currently out of school.
So get together with friends and family to get active, enjoy our beautiful surroundings and help to educate 60,000 children in Pakistan.
